  1. Love these beautiful close-up glimpses of Florida. So different from the beauty of coastal Western Washington and much like what I saw when I visited my sister in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, not long after Katrina. What coastal Western Washington and Florida have in common is dampness and greenness. A great contrast to the dryness I grew up with in California around San Francisco and in the San Joaquin Valley as a small child. A great diversity of beautiful places on the earth. That's for sure.
