Nope, it is a Tacca chantrieri – Black Bat Plant. Very tall and quite stunning. However, without any size context I can see how you might have thought it was a Fritillaria. Good guess. I wish I COULD grow fritillaria down here in Florida. I'll have to post a photo of the ones I had up north sometime.
I looked at all the posts but will only comment here. The pictures are works of art. I don't think I have a favorite but the bird and alligator caught my eye.
