    1. I love that word, "Wow." I started using it as a youngster in the 1960's and just can't break the habit. It is one of those words that really works. Feelin' the love. Many thanks.

  3. Wonderful to see a frog! I've been hoping to see one on my morning walks, and now here is the frog you saw. Although I rarely see them, I know where I have seen them before along the 4 miles that I walk. I have loved frogs since childhood on the San Francisco Peninsula. We saw them all the time. Living in Washington since 1974, I have only see a dozen or so frogs in all that time. I hear them, though. Thank you! A beautiful frog portrait! Interesting that we have lived in two of the same places during our lives -- the San Francisco Bay Area and Northwest Washington State. The only other place I lived briefly was just west of Boston. My sister lives in Gulfport, Mississippi, and when I visited her there, I saw plants and an environment that seem to be similar to what you see in Florida.

    1. Yes, the flora in Mississippi would likely be similar. I have lived all over the country, both coasts, from north to south. Must be that old pioneer spirit. I wish we had stayed in Washington State, tho - I liked the climate and temperature there. I happen to love overcast skies and rain. Sometimes Florida is just too sunny for me.
